About this product
How the Robotic Lawn Mower works
A lawn looks best when it is cut little and often, but few people have the time. A robotic mower does exactly that: it works for a short period most days, trimming a fraction of a centimetre each time, which leaves a tidy lawn and fine clippings that feed the grass.
The machine runs on two large rear wheels that handle slopes and uneven ground, with a smooth shell that sheds water and a bumper at the front that detects obstacles. A thin boundary wire pegged around the lawn tells it where to mow, and sensors tell it when to turn, avoid or return to its charging station.
Robotic mowers are popular for villa gardens, hotels, schools, small sports pitches and estates where labour costs matter. They are quiet, so they can run early in the morning or in the evening. We confirm the lawn area, slope limits and installation kit for each model before you order.
Before you buy the Robotic Lawn Mower
A robotic mower keeps grass at a steady height and saves hours each week. It needs a boundary wire laid once and a charging station on level ground. It suits residential lawns, estates and small sports areas, but not rough or steep terrain.
