Sprayers & Crop Protection

Knapsack, motorised and boom sprayers for even, efficient coverage.

Overview

About our Sprayers & Crop Protection range

Spraying is only as good as its coverage. Uneven pressure wastes product and leaves crops unprotected, so we look closely at pumps, seals, nozzles and tank design before a sprayer joins our range.

Whether you are treating a few rows of vegetables or a whole orchard, there is a sprayer here sized for the job and the budget.

Buying notes

Choosing a sprayer

A good sprayer puts the right amount of product where it is needed and nowhere else. That saves money, protects the crop and keeps the operator safe, so it is worth choosing carefully and calibrating often.

01

Size the tank to the job

Hand and backpack units suit small plots and spot treatments. Tractor-mounted and trailed booms cover large fields, while orchard sprayers use a fan to reach tall canopies.

02

Pump and pressure

Diaphragm pumps resist most chemicals and keep a steady pressure. Check the flow rate fits the boom or lance you plan to use.

03

Nozzles matter

Worn or mismatched nozzles are the commonest cause of patchy spraying. Replace them regularly and choose types suited to your products.

04

Clean and calibrate

Flush the system after every day and calibrate at the start of each season, so you know the true application rate.
