Harvesting & Fodder Equipment
Reapers, balers, diggers, threshers and fodder machines.
Overview
About our Harvesting & Fodder Equipment range
Harvest is the narrowest window in the farming year, so the right machine matters. This range covers cutting and binding cereals, threshing grain, lifting root crops, baling hay and straw, and chopping fodder for livestock.
Many of the machines run from the tractor PTO, and several suit small and medium farms that do not need a combine harvester.

Buying notes
Choosing harvesting and fodder machinery
Harvest is the moment when time and weather matter most, so reliability is worth more than extra features. Choose machines that suit your crop, your acreage and the tractor you already have, and keep spare knives, belts and bearings on the shelf.
Work backwards from the crop
Reapers, diggers, balers and threshers are each built for particular crops and conditions. Check the crop height, moisture and row spacing the machine is designed for.
Mind the PTO and hydraulics
Most harvesting machines run from the tractor's power take-off. Confirm the speed, the shaft size and the tractor power before you order.
Small fields, small machines
A compact reaper binder or a hand-fed sheller can be a better investment on small plots than a large, under-used machine.
Prepare before the season
Service the machine, sharpen the cutters and test it in an empty field. A breakdown mid-harvest costs far more than an hour of preparation.
Questions
Questions about Harvesting & Fodder Equipment
A reaper cuts the crop and lays it on the ground. A reaper binder also gathers the crop and ties it into sheaves in the same pass, which saves hand labour afterwards.
