About this product
How the Rotary Slasher works
The rotary slasher is a PTO-operated rough cutter for clearing unwanted weeds and for forestry maintenance. It mounts at the back of the tractor and cuts down overgrown areas that an ordinary mower would struggle with.
Adjustable slip shoes set the cutting height. The cutting width is 120 cm and the minimum cutting diameter is 2.5 cm.
Use the slasher on overgrown land, paddock edges and forestry tracks where a mower would struggle. Set the slip shoes to the cutting height you need, drive at a steady pace, and clear large stones and wire first. The 120 cm width is practical for most tractors.
Before you buy the Rotary Slasher
Rough ground needs a tougher mower. A rotary slasher handles tall grass and brush up to 2.5 cm thick, making it a good tool for clearing paddocks and keeping boundaries tidy. Stones are the main hazard, so walk the area first and remove anything large.
