About this product
How the Rear Blade works
The rear blade is the implement for tidying yards and grading farm ground. The operator can change both the angle and the pitch, anywhere from 0 to 40 degrees, which makes hands-on tasks simpler and helps the blade follow the contour you want.
It can also be turned around for backfilling. Installation is easy, an alternative hitch pin is supplied, and the blade cuts shallow ditches. It works best with lighter and softer materials.
Set the angle to push material to one side and the pitch to control how aggressively the blade cuts. Light and soft material, such as loose soil or gravel, is where this blade works best. Use the reverse position when you need to push material back into a trench.
Before you buy the Rear Blade
A rear blade does the work of a small grader behind your tractor. Adjusting the angle and pitch from 0 to 40 degrees lets you cut, fill and smooth. It also reverses for backfilling, which makes it useful for farm roads, ditches and levelling around buildings.
