How the Egg Incubator Controller works
Successful hatching depends on a narrow band of temperature and humidity that stays steady for weeks. A digital controller does that job precisely, which is why it is the part most often upgraded when someone builds or repairs an incubator.
A sensor on a cable measures the air inside the cabinet and sends the readings to the controller. The bright LED display shows temperature and humidity, and a row of buttons lets you set the targets, the alarms and other parameters. The controller then switches the heater and humidifier outputs on and off to hold your settings.
Many models also control egg turning at set intervals and give an alarm when readings drift. We supply the controller with its sensor and power lead, and confirm the wiring diagram, voltage and output ratings in writing, so your electrician can install it safely.
