About this product
How the Electric Blower works
Sweeping and brushing dust, shavings and leaves is slow and stirs it all back up. A blower moves it in one direction, so you can clear a workshop floor, an engine bay, a garden path or a building site faster than with a brush.
A motor in the blue plastic housing spins a fan, which draws air in through a grille and expels it through a long black tube, giving a powerful jet. A pistol-style handle puts the switch under your finger, and the tube is long enough to reach under benches and between machinery.
Models differ in power and some blow and also suck. It is light enough to use for long periods and is popular with joiners, mechanics, cleaners and gardeners. For safety wear eye protection and a dust mask, and keep the intake clear.
Before you buy the Electric Blower
A blower clears dust and litter from workshops, paths and equipment far faster than a brush. It is also handy for drying wet surfaces and blowing leaves. Keep the vents clear and wear eye protection whenever you use it.
