About this product
How the Fertiliser Injector Dispenser works
Feeding plants through the irrigation water is the most efficient way to deliver nutrients: small amounts, often, right at the roots. A dosing pump makes that practical by mixing the concentrate into the water at a steady ratio.
The injector is driven by the flow of water itself. As water passes through the blue body it powers a piston that draws concentrate up a suction tube from a stock tank and injects it into the line in proportion to the flow. A dial lets you set the percentage you want.
There is no electricity and no timer. When the water stops, the injector stops, so the dose stays correct whatever the flow. It is installed in the main line with threaded connections and is popular in greenhouses, nurseries, orchards, vegetable farms and also in livestock water treatment.
Before you buy the Fertiliser Injector Dispenser
An injector feeds plants a fixed share of concentrate every time the water runs, with no electricity. It is a simple way to fertigate greenhouses, nurseries and garden beds. Use soluble fertiliser, keep a filter upstream and flush it after each use.
