About this product

How the Backhoe Loader works

The backhoe loader attaches to a tractor and carries two tools that do very different jobs. The loader bucket at the front works like a big dustpan, scooping and scraping material from the surface. The backhoe at the back digs hard, dense ground, usually earth, and lifts heavy loads.

Hydraulic pressure is 2,250 PSI. The bucket measures 16 × 18 in with 165–170 degrees of rotation, the swing arc is 145 degrees, boom height from the ground ranges from 118 to 188 in, and the maximum digging depth is 92.6 to 146 in.

Put the stabilisers down before every dig and keep an eye on overhead lines and buried services. Digging depth is 92.6 to 146 in and boom height from the ground 118 to 188 in, so check these against your jobs. The hydraulic system works at 2,250 PSI.

Before you buy the Backhoe Loader

A backhoe loader is the machine for farms that dig trenches, lay pipes, clear drains and move earth. With a 16 by 18 inch bucket and 2,250 PSI hydraulics, it handles everyday digging. Think about the width of the trenches you dig and the room you have to work.
